KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

• Responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance Management System, including all aspects it’s underlying Compliance Programs, such as: Vendor Management, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and Fair Lending.

• Responsible for testing of Compliance related procedures, reporting findings and testing corrective action plans.

• Conducts scheduled reviews of loan data. Reports trends and findings to Senior Management.

 

 

QUALITY CONTROL

• Responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance Management System, including all aspects it’s underlying Compliance Programs, such as: Vendor Management, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and Fair Lending.

GENERAL SUPPORT

• Responsible for the creation, implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance Management System, including all aspects it’s underlying Compliance Programs, such as: Vendor Management, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and Fair Lending.

• Responsible for testing of Compliance related procedures, reporting findings and testing corrective action plans.

• Conducts scheduled reviews of loan data. Reports trends and findings to Senior Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred. 

• Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) are highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.

• Proven experience in compliance management within the mortgage or financial services industry.

• Previous use of Encompass LOS.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including:

  • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

  • Fair Lending regulations

  • Investor guidelines and regulatory agency standards

• Experience with Compliance Management Systems and associated compliance programs.

• Skilled in conducting audits, compliance testing, and root-cause analysis.

• Ability to create and implement corrective action plans based on QC findings.

• Proficient in preparing and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) and working with SAR Review Advisors.

• Exceptional organizational and reporting skills to support reviews, documentation, and presentations to senior management.

• Ability to interpret and implement regulatory changes and assess impact on internal policies.

• Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration and policy reporting.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Experience in training and educating teams on compliance topics and updates.

• Ability to handle sensitive policy matters, including workplace conduct and harassment reporting.
