As a Senior Loan Officer at Mortgage Express in Vancouver, Washington, Laurie Hansen has developed a reputation as a reverse mortgage expert that combines her passions for customer service, teaching, sales and finance.

 

Laurie is a member of Women in Finance (WIF) and annually attends local and national mortgage training seminars to ensure she is on the cutting edge of her business. After graduating from Southern Oregon University in 1987 with a degree in Math Education, she began a ten year teaching and sales career before entering the mortgage business. She finds it very rewarding and challenging – especially when she helps clients find financing to purchase first homes, refinance mortgages for renovations and working with seniors to realize their reverse mortgage potential.

 

Laurie attributes her success to the unwavering attention she places on each individual transaction while taking the time to thoroughly explain the lending process. She actively communicates with clients, listing and selling agents, sellers and escrow officers to minimize any "surprises" that may come up during financial processes.

 

Laurie has been recognized by her clients and peers for her dedication to quality service. Most recently, she grown to value and respect the needs of the senior market and has devoted a great deal of study learning about senior's needs.
