To this day, my favorite place in the world is my parents’ five-acre property in Boring, Oregon. If you know the Miranda Lambert song, “The House that Built Me”, it perfectly describes their home. After years of cutting out pictures from Country Living Magazine, in 2000, my dad built my mom her dream home. He was a custom home builder throughout my childhood. Aside from the stunning landscape, our home has held family weddings, proposals, endless holidays, birthdays, proms, graduations – All of our biggest milestones and best memories are within those four walls. It is forever home to not only me but anyone that steps in my parents front door. Even though my husband and I are fortunate to have a house of our own now, that house will always be my “home”.
After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2009 (GO DUCKS!), I stumbled into the mortgage industry, thanks to my big brother Sean. Working alongside him in this industry is one of my biggest blessings. I spent my first few years as a loan officer assistant, developing my knowledge in guidelines, packaging and organizing loan files, as well as grasping the back end of the transaction and process. I became a fully licensed mortgage lender in 2015 and haven’t looked back since. It has been a true honor helping hundreds of families create their version of “home” for all their memories and milestones.
Outside of being a loan officer, I am a wife and a mommy too! On New Year’s Eve in 2017, I married my incredibly kind, patient, and fun husband, Mitch. In July of 2020, our tiny sidekick, Marley, joined our world and completely turned it upside down in the best way possible. I love country music concerts, wine tasting, cooking, and spending time with my beautiful extended family + friends/co-workers that are now family, too.
I always make my number one goal for the new/upcoming year to love my job as much as I say I do. To not only say it, but to believe it, to feel it. It sounds so cliché to say that every single day I wake up EXCITED to go to work, that I never dread Sunday evenings, or that I never count down the hours until 5pm on Friday, but it’s honest and is something I feel so proud of. I can’t thank you enough for trust in our team, as you progress through one of the biggest milestones in your life.
We truly feel so grateful and fortunate for the opportunity.
