A locally owned mortgage company has an immediate, full-time position for an experienced Loan Assistant. We are looking for someone familiar with the mortgage industry who wants to join a dynamic, fast-paced team. The candidate should be someone detail-oriented who can prioritize and multitask. Strong verbal skills are required for this position which involves working with clients, referral partners, and vendors. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish are preferred.
Managing loan pipelines to ensure timely processing and closing.
Utilizing the CRM system for tracking and managing leads and customer relationships. Using your customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships through campaigns within the CRM.
Taking customer applications and gathering documentation.
Attend networking events, realtor meetings, and training events with the loan officer.
Minimum of 2 years of recent mortgage experience.
Licensed through the NMLS. If not currently licensed, willing to obtain a loan originator license through the NMLS.
Experience working with Encompass loan origination software.
Proficiency in running LP/DO/DU.
Experience with brokering loans.
Experience with pricing loans, calculating income, and analyzing tax returns.
Up to date with mortgage compliance regulations at the federal and state levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Teams.
