What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and how does it affect me?


Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that protects your personal information from bad actors. MFA helps us verify that the you are the person accessing your account.

1. After entering your password on the login screen, you will be prompted with the below screen. If you don’t have access to the phone number you entered when setting up your account, you can click the link highlighted with the red box in the screenshot below. 

 

2. If you proceed with the text or phone call, the screen you enter the code on will look like this:

3. If you choose the “Try another way” option from step 1 above, you will receive an email like the one below

4. You will then be prompted to enter the One Time Passcode (OTP) on this screen:
