JOB DESCRIPTION

Mortgage Express is a growing mortgage lender dedicated to delivering exceptional service and efficient loan processing experiences for our customers. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Processor Assistant to support our Loan Processing team and contribute to the timely and accurate completion of mortgage transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist Loan Processors with collecting, reviewing, and organizing required loan documentation.

  • Support processing operations by assisting with workflow management and providing coverage during staff absences, vacations, and periods of increased loan volume.

  • Order and monitor Verifications of Employment (VOEs), IRS transcripts, insurance binders, appraisals, and other required third-party documentation.

  • Upload and review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission.

  • Communicate with borrowers, processors, and third parties to obtain outstanding documentation and resolve file deficiencies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files within Encompass and other company systems.

  • Assist with pipeline management activities, including document tracking, follow-up requests, and status updates.

  • Adhere to all company policies, investor requirements, and applicable lending regulations.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Processing Department as needed.

 


QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous mortgage industry experience preferred; loan processing experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination Software is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and verify documentation for accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a collaborative team approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF software applications, and data entry.
